Speed is the disciplinarian’s friend when using long, thin, highly-flexible implements like the belt. Unlike a stiff leather paddle or a thick cane, the long strap loses accuracy unless it’s swung at high-velocity with both confidence and conviction.
Of course, some expert spankers can flick the end of a belt like a wet towel, and anyone can fold or wrap the leather to make a shorter, more manageable implement.
For a true domestic belt whipping, however, the lady of the house will want apply the leather hard and fast across both of the recipient’s cheeks, striking through her target.
